quick note console refresh intervals

I was thinking it might be a good idea to add a combo box to the my account settings so users can set the time intervals for the quick note console to refresh. Now it refreshes every 10 seconds but why not let us choose say every 30 seconds or every minute. On the web browser I use most often, every time the page refreshes in the quick note console, the application where I am working loses focus and I am brought back to the quick note window every ten seconds. just an idea.

first, what browser are you using?
second, i don't really know about longer refresh times, maybe have two settings, one for private qns only, and another for when you have publics on, i don't know.
